We enjoy approximately 9 Months of very good condition for the Sportfishing in Bora Bora, from October to JUNE.
The Optimal time for big fish and lots of action is from December to the beginning of June, when the water is the warmest.
We always have our Inter-Island Fishing Championship somewhere between February and April, this is the period most locals call the best.
The Slowest time is late June, July and August when the water is the coldest and the roughest.
The water conditions are generally mild with the exception of winter (June-August) and occasional stiff trades during the other seasons.
The Fishing grounds begin one mile outside the reef, where the water drops off to more than 1,000 meters (3.280ft).
All in all, the Society Islands are a very nice place to fish and one of the few places in the world where
* YOU CAN CATCH PACIFIC BLUE MARLIN ALL YEAR-AROUND.
